Our buildings, our classrooms, and the systems (electrical/plumbing) that connect them are the backbone of St. Jerome School. Proper maintenance and care are essential to the safety and comfort of our staff and students. Better facilities create an environment for learning, which ultimately is our duty to our students and families.
As a community, we must commit to ensuring that our facilities meet the needs of our teachers and students. As most of our buildings are over sixty years old, there is a clear need for upgrades. Until now, there has been no dedicated process or funding mechanism to address these needs. Moving forward, however, there will be a focused effort to raise funds and begin the process of improving our facilities. We need your help as we embark on this exciting journey.
Your contribution to the capital fund helps us in the following ways:
- Addresses deferred maintenance: Outdated electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other structural challenges can be addressed. This will make our classrooms and common areas safer and more conducive to learning.
- Improves our competitiveness: Neighboring schools (both public and parochial) have been making significant improvements to land and buildings. Our capital fund enables us to keep pace and remain the preferred educational option to prospective families.
- Builds for the future: An attractive and fully functional campus allows us to move forward and thrive. Foundational needs will have to be our initial focus, but over time the capital fund will drive us towards a state of the art learning environment that serves our Catholic mission for decades to come.
Please join us on this journey. Consider a donation no matter what the size. Also, please remember that St. Jerome Catholic School is a not for profit 501(c)3 organization. Gifts to the Capital Plan are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. Our tax ID number is 68-0088649. Thank you!
