Dear Families,
I am very excited and happy to welcome you and your child to First Grade!! It will be a year full of learning, growth and fun.
Please visit the class web-page regularly. You will be able to see the learning that is taking place in the classroom, as well as the daily homework, and the various activities that we do in the classroom.

About Mrs. Macchiavelli
I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I also received my education in teaching. I attended Teacher Training College where I majored in English. I came to the US with my husband for the first time in 1981. For the next 12 years we commuted between Buenos Aires and the Bay Area due to my husband's work. Finally, in 1993, we decided to make the Bay Area our home. I started my teaching career in Buenos Aires, where I taught in Catholic Schools. I taught bilingual education and ESL for the West Contra Costa School District before joining the Saint Jerome Catholic School faculty in 1995.
I am married and have three daughters. I live in El Cerrito with my husband and our youngest daughter.
