Welcome to 4th Grade!

Hello Families of St. Jerome Catholic School,

My name is Brigette Schmitz and I am very excited to introduce myself as the new 4th grade teacher at St. Jerome School this year! I attended Sacramento State University for my BA in Liberal Studies and also earned my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential through the Bilingual/Multicultural Department there. I have been working in the education field since college and this year marks my 5th year as a classroom teacher. I spent the past four years teaching 2nd and 4th grades in the Diocese of Sacramento. My favorite things about being a teacher are forming relationships with my students and keeping them excited about learning! Teaching in a Catholic school has been one of the most enriching, challenging and fulfilling things I’ve ever done. I am fortunate that being a teacher allows me to grow and inspire young minds and hearts!

God Bless,

Ms. Brigette Schmitz
